Brown Design Studio offers a wide range of services based on the scope, size and phase of the project. We work according the the Charter of the New Urbanism, keeping the regional, neighborhood, block, and building scales in mind throughout the design process. In addition, we offer consulting services, primarily in a charrette format, as well as design implementation services and tools.

Brown Design specializes in town center design, both at the block planning and building design level.

Much of our recent work has been focused on retrofitting existing places, as well as new towns and traditional neighborhoods that may have infrastructure and platting in place, but have not yet begun vertical construction
