Savannah is a city mostly recognized for its engaging urbanism, walkability and architecture. One thing that touches all three aspects is the details of the street frontages. Along with these key features; additions such as iron gates, benches, side-building fountains, and classic urns overflowing with bold foliage and vibrant-colored flowers, are the combinations of contrast that make the architecture engaging to the street.
Details such as these, are the expression that make the architecture and spaces authentic in Savannah. These are the “gifts to the street,” that help make the city an enjoyable and dynamic place to walk for residents and visitors. We incorporate these principals into our design work to help make our projects walkable and livable.
