Thursday October 20th, 2016. 5pm - 7pm at the Savannah Theater.
The greater Savannah community is a prime example of an urban place that continues to grow and develop towards becoming more livable, walkable and sustainable. For our second installment of the Savannah Urbanism Series on Thursday October 20th, our goal is intended to educate and empower the Savannah area on the city’s current issues. We are honored to present leading professionals who are able to answer and explain the difficult questions on planning, growth, change and development for the city. The approaches to the development of Savannah, and the driven policies for the future; have the potential to be challenged through these imperative discussions.
Join us for the our second installment of The Savannah Urbanism Series on October 20th, from 5-7pm at the Savannah Theater. Register in advance for the event at: https://thesavannahurbanismseries.eventbrite.com
We are pleased to have former Charleston Mayor, Joe Riley present, “Building Beauty in the Urban Environment.” Mayor Riley’s impact on the city of Charleston, SC, has made it an international tourism destination full of culture and art, an economic powerhouse, as well as a historic preservation and urban design model.
